Becoming a Parent Champion

Becoming a Parent Champion is a values‑led programme that strengthens family engagement, emotional safety and community connection. Parent Champions are trusted members of their community who offer encouragement, clear information and a warm, non‑judgemental presence. This course develops the communication skills, confidence and reflective practice needed to support families effectively. Parent Champions help bridge this gap… offering encouragement, practical support and a friendly, non‑judgemental space. Through six sessions, participants explore barriers to engagement, inclusive communication, wellbeing and teamwork—building the relationships that help every parent feel welcome and able to participate.

Becoming a Peer Mentor

Becoming a Peer Mentor is a practical, emotionally intelligent programme that helps people with lived experience support one another safely and confidently. Through five structured sessions, participants learn how to build trust, listen with presence, ask thoughtful questions, and hold healthy boundaries. The course blends reflective practice with real-world tools to strengthen confidence, emotional literacy, and shared growth. Whether new to mentoring or developing existing skills, this resource supports people to build purposeful, compassionate relationships that make a positive difference in their community.

Community Champions Volunteer Toolkit

This workbook equips participants with the confidence, skills, and personal qualities needed to contribute effectively as community volunteers.
